About Us – Le Sentier des Étoiles

Le Sentier des Étoiles was born from a simple passion: creating small, unique and cozy places where people can slow down, breathe and reconnect with nature in the Vosges Mountains.

In 2022, we fell in love with this land located in Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle, facing the beautiful landscapes of the Hautes-Vosges near the famous Ballon d’Alsace. From the very first moment, we imagined a peaceful place surrounded by forests and mountains where visitors could relax after a day of hiking or cycling in the Vosges.

The Tiny House La Chrysalide was the first project, completed in 2023. It was built by a local Vosges builder, Tibi House, with the idea of creating a small wooden retreat, warm and simple, open to the mountain landscape and natural light.

A few years later, in 2026, the Geodesic Dome Le Cocon was added to the property. It offers another way to experience nature: sleeping with panoramic views of the mountains, watching the starry sky and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding forest.

Both accommodations were designed using natural and bio-based materials, carefully chosen for their environmental qualities and their connection with nature.

We also built a small Kerterre with our own hands after learning this traditional technique in Brittany. Made from hemp, sand and water, it now serves as a small workshop to maintain the land and continue developing Le Sentier des Étoiles.

This place continues to evolve with the seasons, our ideas and our desire to create small nature retreats where visitors can enjoy the beauty of the Vosges Mountains, outdoor activities, peaceful landscapes and starry nights.
